Some of the good ones are: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/english/index.asp This is the Provincial Government website that has various tools and links to help new immigrants learn how to qualify for professional practice, prepare for a job search And get licensed. http://www.settlement.org/path.html This is a list of community agencies that have job-ready immigrants across Ontario. The site includes information on finding jobs, employment assessment, starting a business, and programs for j0b-specific language training, mentoring and work placement. http://www.careerbridge.ca/ This site helps foreign-trained professionals find suitable work through internships. Companies assign coaches, who help ensure interns gain the necessary “Canadian” workplace skills and experience. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree and three years' work experience in their country of origin. http://www.onip.ca/mentoring/ This is an online mentoring run by the Ontario Network for International Professionals. It matches immigrants referred by member agencies with mentors.
http://www.costi.org/ Cost offers programs for newcomers and internationally trained individuals, as well as employers’ placement and support services.
